Derrik Smits
6-10, 220 pounds
Zionsville, Indiana
The first player to receive an offer in the 2015 class, Smits is one of the top juniors-to-be in the state. Butler is currently his only offer. (Unfortunately there has not been much video of Smits’ game surface yet. I will be getting on that soon. For now, here is a dunk from the son of former Pacer, Rik Smits.)
Nate Fowler
6-9, 240 pounds
Cincinnati, Ohio
Nate Fowler was offered just a day after Smits and seems to fit a similar need for the Bulldogs. Fowler also holds offers from Dayton, Miami, and West Virginia.
Luke Kennard
6-5, 190 pounds
Franklin, Ohio
One of the top 25 prospects in the nation for the class of 2015, Kennard has a long list of suitors at this point and Butler just recently put an offer on the table. The Bulldogs have been involved and in the picture with this talented guard from Ohio for a while and there seems to be at least some mutual interest.
