Butler target picks UCF
Another top 2014 target for Butler is now off the board as the former Miami commit, Adonys Henriquez, chose another in-state school this morning in UCF.
Nothing like staying home I’m officially a UCF knight. #ToGodBeTheGlory #chargeon

After a visit to Butler last weekend, things looked bleak right away as several reports came out that he had already eliminated the Bulldogs from his list of potential schools. While those reports eventually turned out to be untrue with everything looking like his visit to Indianapolis went well, it didn’t matter much in the end.
Henriquez chose UCF after a weekend visit to the school that many people thought he’d wind up with eventually.
The question now is: where does the 2014 class go from here?
There are still a couple of options out there with new names surfacing all the time, but at this point there really is not a clear top target that stands out.
@BUIrishdawg Yep, go all out and try to get Martin and Graham if he gets released. Gotta bring in a good 2015 class.

Maybe now the focus turns to 2015 where the Butler staff will have a full year to build relationships with the players rather than just trying to rush in and make an impact in the short tenure this coaching staff has had here so far.
Moving forward, the 2014 class may be a bit less than what people expected at this point, but then again it is tough to get something going when a new had coach just took over. As the 2015 class gets rolling, that will be the one to watch in order to get a feel of how this coaching staff really will operate into the future. And so far, they have taken a very aggressive approach that may help Butler land a couple of highly touted prospects here soon.
