Friday links 10/11

Happy Friday, folks.

To start things off, we did a little throwback article yesterday that was a nostalgic look back at last season with some nice videos of the big moments. We did forget to include, though, a video that Butler senior Ari Kasle put together in talking with Butler players and coaches about the biggest plays and games from a season ago. Check that out here.

Rotnei Clarke led his team in scoring in his first NBL game, a loss, with 20 points.

ESPN’s Dana O’Neil made a trip to Hinkle Fieldhouse this past week and had a sit down with Brandon Miller. It’s a very good piece that I definitely recommend giving some time to read this article as O’Neil did a good job, as she always does.

Some more updates on Trevon Bluiett: Memphis was in to see him recently and now he will be visiting the campus. Memphis is a new school in the picture and while not technically a close, Midwest school, it’s closer than UCLA was. Memphis has a lure of its own that is very strong, but I still would feel like it’ll come down to Butler and Xavier.

According to the Indystar’s Kyle Neddenriep, Xavier and Memphis were in to see Bluiett yesterday and Butler will be there today.
