Happy Sunday. Just another day on the way to the beginning of the season.
Earlier today, we had a chance to talk to Butler prospect Zach Johnson who has an offer from the Bulldogs. Here’s what came from that.
The big news of the week was the decommitment of Trevon Bluiett from UCLA. After just pledging to this program a month ago, Bluiett decided the Bruins weren’t the best fit for him. Now the question is, who is? Butler figures to still be in the thick of things in his recruitment, so we thought we’d break it down for you over here. Here’s what we came up with.
Here’s one thing that isn’t really Butler news, but hey pretty cool. Tyler Hicks, Bark of Hinkle contributor, tweeted out a picture of Brad Stevens on this year’s NBA 2k video game on the Xbox 360 or Play Station 3. Pretty spot on.
Here’s Brad Stevens in the new NBA2k14 game. Pretty cool. Still hasn’t fully sunk in that he is the Celtics coach. pic.twitter.com/YwAJOfTS1K

Just to add to the recruiting news that came out with Bluiett, Butler was already in for a big weekend in that regard with 2014 prospect Kelan Martin coming in. The four-star recruit that many people have pegged as very attainable for the Bulldogs visited the campus this weekend and that could be very big for the 2014 class if he decides to attend Butler.
Also, three Butler students put together a podcast talking Butler Basketball that is now published on Youtube and you can watch it here.
